2000 C5 Intermittant Rough Idle Problem
Recently I have been experiencing a intermittant rough idle condition. Engine appears to be stumbling like it is starved for fuel. I have noticed that it appears the fuel pump has started to whine. I also consistently have this problem right after washing the car when it is first started. Has anyone had this experience?
I plan to take it back to the dealer because it is still under warranty. I would of course like to try and pin point the problem if possible before hand. My typical dealer exeperience has been poor so far. Any Ideas ???

My best advice is to take it to the dealership and see if they can fix it for you. If they cant, (which happened to me for 3 years) then come back and tell us what is happening. I may be able to help you from there.

Welcome to the forum! This could be caused by many things; moisture (electrical), bad/ailing pump, bad gas, dirty TB, etc. What year car do you have? Could be a fuel filter in need of replacement. Probably ten other reasons; let us know. Good luck. :)
