Guys: Too my dismay, the ceiling fabric in my '01 Z06 is starting to come off at a rapid rate. I don't know what brought this on but it's getting pretty bad. Anyone else deal with this problem? Any quick fix solutions? Thanks in advance.
Hate to say it but this is a first that I have scene.
The material on my daughters Camaro was starting to droop so I removed the lining and the hard headline behind it and pucked up some 3 M spray adhesive and redid it, Easy on a bench if you can get it out.
Vacuumed it, sprayed it and rolled it. Came out very well.
I don't know about a Vette though.
It's pretty easy to remove, and it's all one piece. The trickiest part is figuring out how to remove the visors if you've never done that before. There are a few writeups on it. The headliner costs around $135. You'll be amazed how cheap the thing is! Just think of it as they did it to keep down the weight and you'll feel much better. Or not. I guess you could try to spray glue it back together first to see if it looks ok before buying a new one. If your roof leaks it'll be very obvious to you. Hopefully that's not the cause of the separation.
