Default need help with rear brakes

My rear hardline that connects to the flexible line on the passenger side has a hole, I took it off and cant find a replacement for it. The dealer here in the small town that I just moved to says he can order the conections, but I would have to flare the line ect. I cant find the premade prebent line. Can anybody help me with a solution or part number please? 2001c5 coupe. Thanks in advance for any help.

Default Brake fix

Until you get a replacement line, The section with the leak can be cut out and a new section of line can be spliced in between two compression fitting. I have used this method on other vehicles and it works fine. Just get the same size replacement line and appropriate compression fittings.

Default Brake line

Auto Parts stores carry brake lines in different lengths. Straight, you'll have to bend it. Make sure you get the correct flare type. It's probably a metric bubble flare, don't try to put a standard flare in the place of a bubble flare.

Any dealer in the country, big or small, has to do the same thing .... Chevy doesn't stock brake line "parts" .... it isn't cost effective. All dealers are expected to take "stock" straight brake line, add fittings, bend it to match the original part, flare the ends, and install the new part.

There is no replacement "part number" .... either you make the brake line, or have the dealer (or other service shop) make it for you.

I agree you will have to make your own unless you can find one in a salvage yard.
As stated, always use lines with a double flare. You can buy the tools to flare the line yourself if you cannot get an exact match on the length of the line already flared.
