Default Parking Brake Handle Button Spring Rattle

The spring under the parking brake release button keeps wanting to rattle. I have to play with it form time to time to get it to stop.
Any ideas on easy solution?
Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,
Tony

yeah mine too plus my e-brake does not hold very well which is most likely just the adjustment in the rear but I had thought about seeing if the C6 e-brake would be able to bolt to the stock location on our cars. I do not like the look of the aftermarket e-brake handles but the c6 looks pretty good and might fix this problem in the process.

I had an annoying rattle develop on mine Saturday. Could not locate it anywhere but this may well be it. Does holding the button in a little stop it?

Holding the button in stops it. Moving the button around a little also will stop it until the next time you use the brake. Then you have to play to find that just right position w/ the button.

Does anyone have good instructions on how to disassemble. Figured I might be able to stretch the spring or even replace with a tighter spring. I think it is litterally the spring rattling in there.

I finally fixed mine by wedging a small piece folded up black tape down beside the button. Made just enough of a wedge to keep it from making any more noise.
