I don't know for sure, but I doubt that they can without modification. There are a lot of after market units out there, including some new ones from Baer.
One of the seemingly most practical mods I've heard about is a larger front caliper and moving the OEM front calipers to the rear, trying to maintain some sembleance of more front to rear braking force. However, the warning of the gentlemen that did it was to be prepared to disconnect the ABS and maybe even the Active Handling. This would be too big a price to pay for a good improvement in straight line stopping, which would have limited utilization on the street. For the guys that take their C5's to a road course on weekends, the elimination of fade undoubtedly makes upgraded brakes worthwhile. Personally, I think the size of the C5's rear disks look wimpy. :yesnod:
