Not exactly sure of the question...The bulb socket has contacts that match to 2 sliver bands on the back of the fixture.. The bands or strips go into a receiver at the far end (always) of that fixture. This is for a small connector with 2 wires. If that's missing....pull your carpet back further, it down there. (by the outside wall of the car)
