Default Tighten to 140 DEGREES?

I'm reading the "bible" on installing the crankshaft balancer, it say's torque to 37 ftlb... ok got that, but then it goes on to say ....tighten to 140 degrees... what?

I'm guessing this means approximatly another 3/8" turn. yes?

TIA

John

yes, 140 deg would be approx another 3/8 of a turn, well 7/18's to be exact

Buy a torque angle meter from Snap-On! There cheap and much more accurate then the eye ball. This new method of "torque to yield" is a critical step with these aluminum motors. Especially when you get to the heads!
