For my diff, I was able to hold bottle above diff and fill using a tube and not needing a pump. It takes 2 people as one needs to hold tube in diff, and the other to hold fluid bottle above rear tire in fender well. As for tranny, no way without a pump. I got a cheap $4 pump at Autozone that worked well

I just did a tranny/diff fluid replace this weekend. I had AMSOIL bottles and picked up hand pump from Pep Boys that fit the bottle. The hose end had a small barb like setup and it held the hose in place in the tranny/diff fill hole. It was an easy one person job.

Now don't laugh (it worked fine) I had about 3 ft of plastic tubing laying around that fit perfect on the bottle tip. I dropped my compressor to 5 pounds outlet pressure and used an air gun with the long thin tip(the kind with about a 20 degree bend about 5" long at any parts store like Advanced) Poked a nail hole in the bottom, and forced the gun tip into it.Inserted the tubing in the fill hole and "bumped" the gun lever to pressurize the bottle slightly.Using the gun to let the bottle hang upside down I pushed all the fluid out and into the tranny. For the rear it went a little slower with the thicker lube but it worked great.
