Default Where to buy: Column Lock Bypass

Just called thunder racing and they are out of them.

I have a 99FRC that is flashing 10-second-wait message and the column locks. I can get it unlocked, but it re-locks each time I turn it off.....plus I don't want to drive it with the issue and have it get worse and cut the fuel.......

Ideas?

Its a simple question, if you don't have an answer, just move on. If I felt like it would help by typing for an hour to give you every detail, I would. Stick to the question. CLB, thunder version, they are out.....

Your right, it is a simple question, which is why the "search this forum" part of the tech section is soo useful. I found four vendors, perhaps you will too.

Already have, and that wasn't the question. Again, read the rest of the thread before you answer.

TIP: If you answer is "use the search" just STFU and move on, you are not helping.

I had one from Corvettes of Houston but it failed. Not sure why but I also was going to buy one from Thunder but that was a no go. I ended up getting mine from Adaptive Performance this time. I guess I'll see how well and how long it lasts

Use Search. And check your attitude while you're at it, and you might find others more willing to help.

GTrain, have you done a search on the Internet for C5 Column Lock Bypass? That should return a lot of hits.

I recall that Corvettes of Dallas also lists the product on their site and I know there are several others. Mid America Corvettes lists them but at a greatly inflated price.

My bad I was just going by question in tittle, didn't have time to read whole post at the time

Mods, please lock it. Thanks to those that actually read the thread.

If the answer is to continue scanning hundreds of posts spanning 4 years, then I should know better to ask for opinions....
