Removing Rear Sway Bar......Help
I want to remove the 2 big bushings , grease them up and reinstall them, while keeping the end links intact.
Each bushing is attached with 2 bolts with nuts. 1 bolt is also going through the rear control arm?,
The upper bolt goes into a threaded blind hole - no nut - retorques to 49 lb ft with anti seize lube.
The lower bolt has the nut on clamp side, remove the nut only and leave the bolt in place then retorque to 70 lb ft without anti seize
is this ok to remove,
Remove only the two metal clamps (bushing covers)
is this under load when jacked up?, No
is it going to be a problem getting the control arm back up to slide the bolt through???No, not a bit
thanks
