Default CAI Air Filter

I happen to have a K&N air bridge installed in my 99 FRC. It currently runs to the stock air box. Then the lid of the air box is cut off.

I'd like to have a full out cone filter setup on there. So I looked at purchasing the filter from K&N but discovered it requires modifying the radiator housing to mount the filter.

I don't like that idea. Does anybody know if, you can purchase a drop in cone / cloth filter setup that works with the stock air box mounts?

Or something at least that doesn't require modifying / cutting up the car to put it in.

Thanks!

The Blackwing uses the factory mounting points on the front crossmember and the factory AIR tube plugs right into it also. No modifications to the radiator housing/shroud either.

I like the idea of that little bit of cold air the K&N modified shroud provides.

But the Blackwing will work just fine....
