I recently purchased those A&A exhaust bypass pipes for my c5. I have the means and the know how to weld them my self, but i cannot get the exhaust over the axel to remove from it the car. Does any one know how do do this. It has to be much more simple than i am making it out to be.
In order for the stock exhaust to clear, you need to raise the car about 36" off the ground AND you have to drop the rear sway bar. Also, for more details, check out the "tech tips", a link in the upper right hand corner of this page. The C5 section has tips on the exhaust installation.
