Installing a C6 Z06 brake setup on C5
Any step by step guides on how to do this? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

I have done this on my car, and I wish I would have done it sooner. Its well worth it. There is much debate and it gets super technical in terms of performance, but the issue lies with you, if you have the money to slap on $5,000.00 Brembos by all means go for it, the brembos are better. Personally I think the C6 Z06 brakes are the best bang for the buck. A six piston, four piston set up is hard to find for less then $4-5,000.00.
First, and foremost see if you can help yourself out and find a used set from a z06 that decided to up grade, you will save alot there.
Second, make sure you have the correct wheel spacing for these brakes, as they are mighty big. A stock C5 set-up wont work. I have 18X9.5 in front and 18X10.5 in the rears, make sure the offset is correct, if they are not the brakes wont fit. I believe the offset up front is around +41, or something www.houseofwheelsonline.com helped me, call them and (Bob) I think his name is knows the excat offset.
Third, you will need new brake lines and brake fluid, you will need to bleed the ABS.
Fourth, this might be obvious or not, but you will need C6 Z06 brake pads, depending on how you drive the following company should have what you need. I got a great deal from www.racingbrakes.com.
Fifth onces everything is in place, brake them in and be safe and have fun. I have noticed that these brakes will suck the front of the car down on heavy braking, so if you are slammed to the ground that may be an issue depending on your ride height.
Hope that helps

Thanks I do what I can !

"what brake lines and fluid you purchased and where did you purchase the from?"
umm.. thats a tough one... I am not sure I remember, but I think I got Goodrich steel braided brake lines, and 4 pints motul racing fluid. That sounds right. I really dont remember where I got them.
The rotors and calipers are a direct bolt on.
