The procedure is in the owners manual. If you don't have an owners manual, you can down load one for free on the GMPARTSHOUSE website, courtesy of site supporting vendor Gene Culley. The site is contained in the column to the left.

Nope, the procedure is in the Service Manual ... it is NOT in the Owner's Manual ....
