'02 service manual shows fuse #22 listed as "BCM 13" (10 amp), but not feeding anything! ???? I don't know!!!!
Yup, the manual shows four actual power feeds to the BCM ... Fuses 9, 13, 23 and 25. Fuse 22 is marked as powering the BCM ... but it is an "empty" circuit .... it doesn't feed anything.
It is powered when the ignition is in the ON position ... so it would be useful for add on devices you want to have switched.
Just to confirm what others have said, this is from another post,
"Just read another post that says fuse 22 really doesn't have anything to do with the BCM. Rathere it is an unused switched source of 12 volts that others have used to power aftermarket add ons."
Just to confirm what everyone else has said, I've recently spent a lot of time with the wiring diagrams in the service manual and know the BCM does not use that circuit. I didn't realize it is hot and had just assumed it was disconnected. Thanks for the info!
Was gonna say, saw a wire the came out of that fuse then lead presumably to nothing un plugged it and my radio stopped working, put it back in and it was good.
