97 Have Code P1626 HC
It happened yesterday and had to limp home on reduced power (short ways & all temps/pressures were fine). I did have a P1571 H, but just read with 97's this will not go away so I am wishing this is not the EBTCM, as the service traction control light was on also. Hoping this is a battery or connection issue as I do remember my clock time on the was way off recently. Also I did recently put in a new 160F temp thermostat and got a little more than I planned on all over. I did wash everything down carefully near the A/C compressor and such. I will work on the battery an connections when I get home but any other pointers would be appreciated. Could this be one where you need to clean the chip on the key??
