I run Trick Flow 215's milled down. Lets just say they made all the difference. Cant beat them and they have 13.5 degree valves so you keep stock pistons. I did my research and they outflowed the AFR's 205's and others an made more power. I run a 22x/23x 112 lsa cam.
So many different answers will come from different people. The nice thing about the Trickflows is the change in valve angle offers more clearance for bigger cams.

Please forgive him for he knows not what he's started.....
Let's just say you can't go wrong with either. Personally, I like the Trickflows from what I've seen, but you can't beat the customer service from AFR. Plus, the AFR heads have a CARB #, if you need it.
Another vote for TF. Great results, but..... if I had it to do over, and considering the bang for buck, A&A has a great deal right now on a Vortech SC system.
Most peak HP #'s does not necessarily mean you have the best head for the application. Are you drag racing, roadcoursing, auto-x or just looking for the best all around head? TF's seem to be a force to be reckoned with, and the AFR's have been the "Gold Standard" for LS engines for years now. Intake flow at .600" lift is not the only or best measure for a good head, the exhaust flow has long been what set AFR apart from the other aftermarket castings. Just look at all the specs and put together your combo according to your wants/needs. With that being said, both TF & AFR make great products
Hope your are ready to shell out some dollas if you are looking to get some TF's. I was almost ready to pull the trigger until I found out it was going to be over 4g just to upgrade the heads, and that was from 2 well known supporting tuners!!

Honestly opinions are like a$$holes, everybody's got one. Depending on your budget, preference on where you want your power and ofcourse all the articles you read (or have already read). In the end TFS and AFR are both solid performers, you can't go wrong with either one for an improvement over stock in performance on a street driven vehicle.
I have TFS on my car, no issues. Got them for a heck of a deal saving almost $550 at purchase from regular price. That was my only deciding factor, hey that money went elsewhere.
I will say AFR does have a SOLID customer service reputation, no doubt about that. This guy Tony from AFR, will bend over backwards to help out and provide assistance.

Maybe they've gone up, but when I bought mine, they were $100 cheaper than AFRs, including the custom milling. Of course, at that time, you also had to buy roller rockers, but they sent me mine for free because I had to pull off my heads and send them back.
