The amount of fluid for an overhaul: 3.9 Liters or 4.1 quarts. You'll be filling to the bottom of the fill hole when changing so it'll be close to this number anyway.

Correct on the 4.1 qt capacity. Before draining make sure to loosen the fill plug as a precaution to make sure you will be able to fill it back up after draining. Also buy 4 quarts and do not be surprised when you can only get about three and a half back in. You will need a fluid pump or suction gun to refill, I used some small squeeze bottles and just refilled them a couple of times. Paul.
