Bulb Replacement A4 Shift Postion Indicator

Bulb Replacement A4 Shift Postion Indicator
Question is do I have to remove the entire console to get at the bulb under the A4 Shift indicator, or just the radio bezel and TC plate?

I looked at this last summer and I believe I had to take the entire center console off. Good luck. Are you going to be replacing with LEDs or the original type and color of bulb?

I just put in my paperwork with Honeywell to go over, but I'm sure I am too old, but will have to see. I'd like to sneak up on him. I'm retired and we could always sneak up on the Army. He's 5th SF so I have to be careful.
Pups are cool Shiloh Shepherds are great animals.
