Default Wet Okoles

Ok folks, I'm almost convinced to get the Wet Okoles for my 98 coupe, just have a couple of questions to ask those that have them...Tell me about the installation, hard, easy, approx how long, special tools (other than hands, fingers, screwdriver, pliers). Are they hot in the warmer monthes ? I'm in central Florida and it stays pretty warm all year. What is the sweat factor ? Do thay have any aroma that lingers ? Are they as tight fitting as the few pictures I've seen of them ? Any of you that can send a picture or two would really be helpful also. I did a search on seat covers and got a bunch of good information and that is how I've come to this point in my decision making. I think I'd rather have the fabric/material of the neoprene rather than vinyl (which I've really never liked much).

I bought a set last spring for my 99 coupe and have been very pleased with them. Even here in Mich. a all black car can be hot as hell in the summer and my comfort level has increased dramatically, plus the red with other matching accents I added looks great. If I remember correctly installation took about an hour. Just remove the four nuts that hold the seat down and you can move them around enough to easily install the covers.

Great covers, I hate leather. Removing seats to install is simple.

I've had them in 2 C5's. Take the seats out of the car and then put the
covers on. Takes about an hour.

If the car sits in the sun for a few hours and gets really hot I still sweat
a little but it is a dramatic improvement over the leather.

The covers have a slight odor when new but, it doesn't take long for it
to go away. Maybe a few weeks. If you are sweaty when you get in the
car the covers don't retain any odor.

I love mine. They are far better than what you can buy from the
catalog companies like Mid-America, Ecklers, Corvette America, etc.

Good Luck
