Z06 Rear end help
Hey everyone I went to the track this past friday to maybe get a good run. I installed 315 m/t drag tires on first pass i broke something in the rearend 10feet after the tree. The car moves for a few feet then its like someone slams on the brakes on me Then i have to rock the car to get it free again. It has the speedinc diff with 390 gear. What do you guys think i might need to replace??????? Thanks P.s no gear oil on the ground.

can't imagine an output shaft either from the tranny or from the rear to the 1/2 shafts causing it to lock up like that. It's the most popular thing to break. Maybe you broke the pinion or ring gear. That would make more sense to me given the locking up part. My bet is the Pinion gear. Sorry for your bad luck.
