Default A/C problem continues

Well long story short, I replaced all the vaccum hoses and the one behind the intake, changed out the small vaccum fitting and checked under the passanger footwell and all is good but all the vents still blow.. I read that if you disconnect the vaccum hose from the purple hose under the footwell and suck on the tube to create a vaccum that it will cause the vents to correct and change. So, I created the vaccum and the vents still did not adjust and the black hose that I disconntected from the purple was pulling a vaccum under the dash. What's next?? Do I need to replace the dual unit or is there anymore test I can do... please help...

If you have a mity vac you can pull the vacuum tubes off and pull each one into a vacuum and see if it holds. If you cannot pull a vacuum or if it rises quickly then either the diaphram or hose has ruptured and will require replacement.

Good Luck
