I don't think you should have a problem hitting those 60's with the 18's as well. Let us know how they work out for ya.

Those look nice.

I'm not tire guru but, looking at the M/T site the 305/35R18 has a tread width of 11.5" whereas the 315/30 has a width of 11". For contact patch with the asphalt; wouldn't the 305 provide a theoretical increase in traction due to the 0.5" larger contact patch per tire? It seems that any decrease in 60' time would be due more to the smaller diameter tire rather than increased traction.

I have confirmed the old adage of bigger isn’t always better
Playing with launch/tire pressure/tire burnout temp is key

Nice tires Steve. I wish I had the nerve to try a set on the Gentleman's Cruiser.

BTW: I see you're still dressing up on the weekends. Nice nail polish too...

Any results? I was thinking about getting these and putting them on stock ZO6 rears. I am looking for a rear setup I can use with my 14" rear rotors and a 17" will no longer fit.

These wheels & tires fit fine over my rear 14" rotors with little room left.........

Thinking about putting stock rotors back on so I can use all my drag/road race tires on the vert........would be selling these wheels & tires!
