Default which bolt on mods?

Ok my goal is to meet 500-600 rwhp with out destroying anything. It will be a 6 speed not sure which yr i am going to buy yet it will be btw 99-01 most likely for the money i am putting up. I just need old thread pointer or some advice on what all i can bolt on to make this. If I have to go fi i will but would like to do the bolts ons first then the fi I am planning on getting the pistons forged anyhow

The only boltons i could think of is this

AFR Heads & Cam Package
Intake
Gears
Clutch upgrade
Fly wheel upgrade
Aluminum driveshaft
Short throw shifter
160 thermostat
Look into rear end upgrade???
output shafts
differential
torque tube bushings
aftermarket air filter
long tube headers and cat-back exhaust system.
tranmission cooler

I am really wanting more of the 600 and up rwhp range but if it cost way more money to do over 500-550 rwhp then i can be fine with that I just need some help on what all i can upgrade the whole car wise to make the car not on borrowed time before something breaks.

I would think you can get close to if not just above 500 rwhp with those but to really get up into the higher 500 NA you would have to do a complete build on a stroker motor or something with a bit more displacement. If you decide to FI the motor, then its a piece of cake.

500rwhp is about the max I have seen on a NA 346 cu in. A Supercharger will get you closer 550+. However, you may want to add up the cost of the upgrades to get there vs. building a new motor or even upgrading to a C6Z06 as a base and upgrade from there.

You have like $10-12K in parts listed. A supercharger kit will get you close for about $8k, then add a $2k for a clutch. When the motor blows up build a new one with a forged bottom end.

I highly doubt you will see 500rwhp from a 346ci N/A...maybe 470rwhp. You will need a stroker motor to do it N/A. You can always go the F/I rout and leave the engine stock while running around 7lb bost which will get you a safe and reliable 500rwhp.

You forgot LT headers on that VERY ambitious list. You're gonna need a bigger block with a massive H/C package to break the 600 barrier N/A. I would definitely go the supercharger route whether it be procharger or kenney bell or one of the others. i would definitely invest the money to make sure you dont have stuff comin through your hood that shouldnt be and get a good tune. by then you should have more than enough power to scare yourself i.e. low 500's. id give the guys at ECS a shout. theyve got a lot of experience in this area. Good Luck
