Did you do anything special, like tape the ends of the teflon tape, when you installed the bars? Also, how well has the teflon tape held up? I'm getting ready to install new bars on my '01 coupe and was thinking about the teflon tape solution. Thanks.
i was told the C6 Zo6 bars were a bit too big in the back for the C5, Is that not true?

I know the C5 Z06 setup fits; that's what I have on my car. I've also driven a C6 Z06 extensively, and I can tell you it's a lot more tail happy and harder riding than the C5. some of that is spring rates, some of that (the over steer) is the sway bars. I do not care for the way the C6 Z06 steps out in the rear over bumps compared to the C5. You need to be much more careful if you don't have the room.

The teflon tape is holding up well. I've put about 10K miles on it since the install. I didn't use any other tape, the rubber keeps it pressed in place very well. I did make sure to end the wrap so that it's centered and not outside of the rubber mount.
ZX12R - I went with he C5 Z06 sways from Gene Culley. They fit great
I've got C5Z06 bars. They work good and I really noticed the change. I would have to say the rear bar may be just a little light but the car went from oversteer to slight understeer which isn't really a bad thing.
The C6Z51 bars look to add just a little more rear bar compared to the C5Z06, which could put the car at neutral or still with a slight bit of oversteer.
The C6Z06 set looks to have way too much rear bar for a C5.
