If you can find the Goldline AC Delco, go with that. Otherwise I would use the Mobil 1. I could not find the Mobil 1 at the local Waremart so I ordered it from Shawn at LAPD. Got it in ONE DAY.
I use the ACDelco UPF44 from CAU on the forum. About $8.50 each. You will hear from everyone else that ACDelco has discontinued the UPF44 but that is old info. They brought it back due to demand.
I am still lokking for a wrap around magnet for the filter.
Mobil 1 makes a very good filter, as K&N and others. I would use it if you can get it, or else one of the Delco 44s. Your Chev dealer might have the UPF44.
Is it necessary to use a Mobil1 filter? Or can I use AC/Delco or something else. Also does WalMart sell the Mobil1 filters?
Thanks
Is there anything wrong with using the PF44 Duraguard filter? I asked my wife to stop at the local Chevrolet dealer and pick up a oil filter and this is what she came home with. Cost me $5. What does the manual say to use?
There is nothing bad about the PF44. the UltraPF44 (UPF44) is SUPPOSED to catch smaller particals but who knowns. There is no requirement to run any brand filter.
