LS1 makeover Tips
I've gathered my bits & pieces, tried to cover off the "search", LS1how to etc. Quick run down of what I'm installing, ported AFR's & Fast90/90, LG pros, Comp 228/228 @ 113, CLR lifters, YT ultralites, EWP, ASP underdrive. Most everything purchased thru vendor's sponsoring this forum.
My project begins next week, couple of questions for some tips from the more experienced would be very helpful.
Trying minimize my fluids spills, antifreeze & PS Fluid. I have the large Mitty Vac, just curious were to syphon before the spills? Plugs...caps?
Also will this motor start & run with stock tune? Were I'm located very small town, no tuners, no dynos....few hundred miles away. I do have HP tuners & can upload & download, cannot tune. Would there be suggestion who could email a tune similar to my above list of parts?
Any other tidbits of info that you could suggest would be appreciated. Anyone that would like to help out? I'll cover the costs. Thanks for reading.

Try the C5 scan and tune forum for mail order tunes. There are a few shops that do it, and they can do a decent job with just specs, it would take a few scans and a wideband sensor to get it done right though.
Can't say anything good about spills, but have some oil dry or similar on hand. I spill stuff just looking at my Vette.
