I have their half price counter part bought at Walmart...$18.00 each is kind of steep if you ask me...

Mine do the same thing and ran me $18.00 total...Anco Contour I believe was their name...work very well, though the barrel connector to the wiper is pretty big and sticks out some...

I bought them for my truck last winter and they streaked the windshield badly. I contacted the manufacturer and they where glad to give me a refund after I ship them back and include the sale receipt I had tossed the week before. I put them back on the truck for spring/summer and they perform just OK. I bought AutoZone Duralast winter blades and they worked well.

As for the Vette I have Bosch Icon beam blades. I don't drive my car in the rain so they are there to look cleaner than the stockers.

I haven't tried them either. They are likely actually made by Trico as they look identical to Trico's "Neoform" blades.

Don't hav'em on my vette, my lady friend has them on her commuter car, these wipers work as good as any name brand wiper (not premium)'BUT, thats not their claim to fame rain x wipers impart a little rain x to the windshield which makes rain/snow glide off'if up to hi way speed no need delay f/drizzle... precip blows off window so yes IMHO the package is better trhan just plain wiper blades

I agree with you as far as the Rain-X deposit, but only to a point. I have been a big fan of Rain-X for years and have used it many many times. The amount imparted to the glass from a blade however, will be small and/or short lived. It is for this reason that I chose to clean and treat my windshield with the Rain-X liquid product and then install Trico's Teflon coated blades. Together, those two work really well.

More likely both blades are manufactured by some Chinese sweatshop and sold under different names.

Now there's some great info!

As for the wipers.. I think I threw mine away after a month of frustration and smeared windshield.

This is why I love the forum, you could not get first hand ,unbiased truthful information on something that may seem trivial to some anywhere else. I too am a big fan of rain X and use it also with premium blades, funny thing though, you, like me and most of the corvette community will avoid driving in the rain if possible, but as the corvette is a cut above other cars so must be the wipers they must also be Hi Performance. Our method provides the very best wipe, but rain X blades are still better than just standard blades

Who uses wiper blades? I usually wax my windshield once a month, and use just regular old windshield wiper blades. Save some coin.

I remember hearing somewhere that you can use some fine sand paper I'm wanting to say like 1000 grit or so and go over the part of the blade that contacts the window and it renews it sort of, I have never tried it though.

I hear ya on the better blades on the market than OEM. I however have many many miles in the rain as mine is a DD. I'm currently at 149K+ miles.

Another added benefit of the Liquid Rain-X is that regardless of blade choice, they will last somewhat longer since in light/moderate rainfall, you use them less. Many has been the time I have driven in moderate rainfall and either don't need the blades at all or have them in a slow pulse mode since the water instantly beads and blows away quickly. Good stuff.
