My fix for the hyperflash issue

Bulb type 3157/4157's:

Notice the connectors on the blubs below:

Now, get some needle nose pliers and *GENTLY* lift up all four connectors. Use the pliers just to get them raised like so:

Then use a small flat head screwdrive to pry them up a little more (if you didn't get them too well with the pliers:

So that the blub looks like this when your done:

Install the blub and see if it works.
Some other notes. When I first had this issue just the passenger front side blinker wasn't working. I tried 3 different blubs and could not get it workin
So, today I took an ohm meter to troubleshoot the issue since it *seemed* as if it wasn't gettin power. Well, I just happened to have the turn signal going as I was working on this and as I was pullin out the bulb, it started workin.
Then it caused an issue where the drivers side front blinker wouldn't work at all! Nothing on the dash (no flashing or anything!)
so I took the bulb out and the drivers side started workin again (what I'm gettin at is apparently if the bulb isn't making a good connection, it can cause other issues with the other side which would make you think that the hazard switch could possibly be the issue when its just a loose connection causing the issue) Now, considering how many different threads and opinions there are on this, this may not be THE final fix, I'm just sayin its an easy starting place before moving on to the more expensive fixes.

Yea, I cleaned up the connectors as best I could on the plug itself. I even took a small screwdriver and compressed to connectors inward so they would make better contact. If you've seen this connector before, there are two blades that are easy to compress for a tighter fit, and then there are two more that are on the other side that sit there; you can't compress them together to make better contact. I cleaned them as best I could but these connectors are the ones for the turn signal so that's why spreading out the pins on the blub made the connection work.
