transmission noise
i was parked in a real quiet area tonight and just happened to notice that when i shut the car off i get a rattle type sound from under the shift boot area, so i started it back up and turned it off again and it made the same noise, so i start it back up with the clutch out i give it just a touch of throttle and i hear the rattle/ vibrate noise again each time i give it just that amount of throttle but when i give it more throttle it wont make the noise, is it the throwout bearing? i know the t-56 is a loud noise maker but i dont remember hearing it that much..

Normal C-5 trans, clutch-rattle, when you get in a enclosed garge area, you hear a lot of noise amplified by being between walls. My C-5 MN6 sounds like a bunch of marbles rolling around since I bought it when it had 6000 miles, now has 41k and same marbles rolling around in it, I think most will agree the noise is all normal, and C-6 MN6 make all the same noise.
