Default Help! Car Will not start

I went to lunch today and my 98' drove fine. When I came back to car it would not start. When I put the key in the ignition the power comes on, the radio plays and the dash lights up. But when I try to start I hear a faint clicking but noting else. Any suggestions?????? I do not want to leave it in a parking lot for to long.

did you try jumping it?
Sounds like your battery connections are corroded-clean especially between the cone shaped bolts and the clamps .
If not, your battery is fried-unless you've left some lights on inside....

Clicking is typically what you hear when the battery cannot provide enough amperage to the starter. It's quite possible that the battery suddenly lost a cell after the last start. When I lived in Florida where the heat is not good to batteries when it failed it would usually happen after the first cool night.

See if someone can jump start you.
