Just for the record ,,My FRC had TWO of the recall fixes (RC01044-the infamous Harness and RC04006 the "Reprogram") before I bought it. It stranded me last Saturday!! Lucky I had bought a CLB and just took my time getting around to it,,and it bit me!! A little tip on the install,,,Most instructions say pull fuse #25. That was NOT sufficient for mine.I STILL got the messages and no go! Turns out there are 3 BCM fuses,,13,,23,,and 25. I also added 29 as well (read that somewhere in a ton of threads I read) After pulling these 4 fuses and letting it set for 10+ min It worked fine,,been driving it all week without a single hiccup!! This MIGHT save you some aggravation!! Have fun at Fun Fest Ill be there too (A pewter FRC parked with Lookinglass Corvette Club parking area)

Thanks Todd and Jeff (service dept). Really appreciated the help this morning after talking to you both!
Got my CLB in today. Checked the car and the column was once again working fine so I went and put it in. Took about 30 mins with me going really slow and even getting interrupted from a phone call. Was pretty easy just followed the steps from LS1.com
So far (knock on wood) everything seems to be good. Iam really hoping and praying it stays this way as I leave for Effingham, IL (for funfest) this weekend. I'll be bringing tools just in case.
See everybody there who is going!
Once again special thanks to the guys from Corvettes of Houston/Dallas for their help.
