Are you aware there are 2 fuse boxes?? 1 under hood by the battery,,,And 1 in the front of the passenger foot well(flip the 2 levers to pull the tp[ of the floor panel back ). This will uncover the box and BCM. Fuse # and diagram is on the box lid! Is this what you are looking for??
this is my 1st C-5. i had a '68 a long time ago. i didn't know there was one on the passenger side kick plate i think i've got it now. thanks guys for the help. i was just looking at the one under the hood it was the wrong one. thanks everyone for the help dave
As this is your first C5, read the stickys at the top of “C5 Tech”.
You will learn much about preventative maintenance – and common repairs.
Such as:
Cleaning the drains for the cowl area (udders) and the under dash HVAC (right angle shaped rubber hose on firewall just rear of the passenger side head). This will keep water away from your newly found fuse box AND BCM (Body Control Module – computer)
Do not be discouraged about the reliability of the C5. It is a very robust platform, but learning and eliminating potential problems that can occur due to lack of awareness will serve you well.
I've known some who have read the stickys only to panic about the reliability car. The fact is, the extensive coverage on this forum encompasses most all of the problems that the C5 will encounter.
