headlight gear grinding AGAIN!!!!
I just replaced my headlight gear last 2 weeks ago. Everything worked fine last week, but this morning I went out and the gear started making noise again... I wonder if I can take off the motor, manually spin it 180° and re-install it??? I'm not sure if I can get the motor apart after the 2-part epoxy. otherwise do I just buy a complete motor on ebay for $100?? what to do?

Last night I checked my new gear and it is already a little worn. The "worm" I noticed has a lot of slop/movement in it. you can move it front/back about 1/8" this also moves the manual adjustment **** with it. So I'm thinking this is why its not working with the gear. I checked the other headlight and the adjustment **** has no slop. I think I'll order a used motor off ebay or mabye someone on here will have one. I have a 2001. will a 97-99 motor work or do I need a 00-04? is the only difference that the new ones are glued? thanks for any help.
