my 2002 C5 Auto with just now 5,000 miles on it didnt start. Today I took it for a good run, ran great started right up after a week of no driving. I shut down for 5 minutes went to back into my garage and it was completely dead, no gauges up nothing. But I put my charger on it and it started right up and shows full battery?
once before it started but real rough, needed a lot of gas to get it going. I was on reserve gas and thought it was injectors. So I put in some Chevron gas with Techron and it ran great.
UPDATE:
OK, now its dead. No jump a little crank but thats it.
Any ideas? Can it just be the battery is gone? It is 6 years old and I found it with 2,900 moles on it and factory original everything tires, brakes etc

Reason: Update
sounds like battery to me. sometimes it will just take a surface charge and look fully charged, but not really. if you have a voltmeter, read the voltage across the terminals of the battery. should be at least 12.3 volts with car off. you could also have loose or dirty battery terminal connectors so you should remove, clean and retighten as another possibility. if that doesn't improve matters, i would take the battery out and have it tested. i replaced mine with an autozone gold and it works fine.
