Default New PIAA relay

For those of you waiting for the new relay for the PIAA 1100X, they are in and I just got mine. It is re-designed, with inline fuse, easy install. Well, it took me a while because I re-installed my stock Blazer fogs while my PIAA fogs were out. :)

I had to e-mail them a couple of times and was told they were being manufactured in Japan and should be ready around this time. They replaced mine under warranty (1 year).

Thanks for the info Efren. I've been waiting for mine for over 2 months.
I'll send them a "reminder" e mail. I really miss the lights!

Subject: failed part # PL5FA - need fix

Hello,

Last year, I purchased the PIAA 1100X fog lights for my 1999 Corvette
convertible, and had them professionally installed. 3 months ago, the
fog lamps went out. The shop technician determined that the relay, part #
PL5FA, was bad. After doing some research, he informed me that PIAA was
covering this issue as a defect. I was told to send this email and
provide a shipping address for a new relay (part # PPP15).

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Respectfully,

Ken Williams

Ken,

That should do it. You should get an instant auto reply message and then an actual reply within 24 hours. I'm guessing you'll get yours as soon as they sort all their back orders. My relay died in October, e-mailed them then, and then sent them a "reminder" e-mail last month.
