Completed the carpet install yesterday. Not too difficult, do need additional carpet to complete the job (around the sides of the fenders.
I'll take it to a professional for complete recarpeting once I've completed the sub woofer install. Had to open up the speaker covers at the orfice for the hatch shocks. Also, I inverted the shocks,
(not visiable in this photo), they hold the covers closer to the inner fenders.
The noise level is as quite as stock, this without the inner fender liner insulation installed. Waiting on the right inner fender liner to complete this task.
I'm pleased with the results so far, one more task and its done.

RSchiltz, Have a few ideas for the top storage, will tackle that issue once I finish the tubbing modifications. What ever I do will be functional, unique and clean.
Ambitin, the rear tire size is 345-35x18 on 18 x 11.5" FIKSE FM5's.

the "How to tubb a coupe" procedure and post.
MMarquez, I used the stock rear carpet. Once I finish the install of sound system I'll have the whole car re-carpeted with a better quality carpet. Something similar to what Loyd's uses.
