Lowered vette question?

My car was previously lowered on stock bolts. The ride was smooth. I wanted to drop it a little more. So I changed to longer bolts and dropped it about 1 more inch. The ride seems noticeably bouncier. I still have about an inch clearance over the top of the tire to the edge of the fender. Fender height is 27". Am I getting the bounce from the shocks (stock) ? Or what else could give me this issue?

Mine does the same thing. It's because we are too low for the stock shocks. They are pretty much bottomed out.
