Default Brake Pad Shims
I have made some polished SS shims to cover the pads,strictly for appearance purposes. They are 1/16" thick, will this effect anything with wear or stopping ability?

I run titanium shims on the piston side of the calipers on the track car to reduce heat and have never had a problem.
