Default TPMS o rings???

ok, I bought some extra tpms from Gene (thanks Gene!) and plan to mount them on my extra black z06 motorsport knockoffs. I'm tired of hitting the reset button and want the security of knowing what the heck the pressure is.

I've seen some things on the forum that on some wheels, folks talk about buying a certain size 0 ring from home depot or wherever.

does this always have to be done? Do they come with it?

The new TPMS sensors come with the grommets installed. Replacement grommets are available
separately under GM part # 25715243.

I am pretty sure it is a #9 O-Ring.

The 01-04 style sensors do not use an O-ring. The new style sensors will come with the (reusable) rubber washers already installed.

The guy that posted that question in your link has a 2000.
1997-2000 sensors do use O-rings.

The OP here has a 2004 (as indicated in his profile), and as I stated, the 2001-2004 style sensors do not use O-rings.

My previous car was a '99 coupe and it used the "O" rings I mentioned.

You are correct about '01 to '04:
Take a lap around the lake then shoot up 83 and have a good breakfast at the Erin Motel just North of "Q" on the left.(watch those speed limits passing thru North Lake!)
