Default Chirp/Squeak when upshifting

We finally had some fairly cold weather last week (high20's/low 30's...somewhat cold for us) and as I was upshifting (rather quickly) 1st to 2nd, 2nd to third, and third to fourth, I heard a small chirp/squeak as I released the clutch pedal at the very end of the clutch pedal coming up. I know for a fact that it was not my tires chirping or squealing. It sounded like it was coming from the engine compartment. Very hard to hear with the radio on...but I thought it was rather annoying. This didn't happen when downshifting for upshifting slowly. Any ideas what this could be? I hope it's not the throw-out bearing. I have only 2,500 miles on the odo. Thanks!
P.S. I've never heard the chirp/squeak in warmer weather.

Default Re: Chirp/Squeak when upshifting (Mark S.)

Disregard my post...I took it for a long ride yesterday in the cold weather and found out that the noise I was hearing is that dreaded intake plenum whistle which occurs around 2,200 to 2,400 RPM. What was happening was that when I depressed the clutch while upshifting, the RPMS would then drop into that range and when I engaged the clutch, the squeak/noise was actually the "whistle noise" which has been well-documented for 01s.
