Default Auto Trans. Service

Hi all thanks for all the good info. I have a 2001 coupe 58,000 miles 2nd owner had 40k when purchased 2years ago moderate driver. I just had a transmission service ( droped pan changed filters reinstall, refill) the trans. worked fine prior to and after the service, the fluid was fine however there were some fine metal particles attached to the magnet in the pan and some debris in the bottom of the pan. Is this normal or is it something to worry about? thanks in advance for the help

Normal to find fine metal particles attached to the pan magnet. Nothing to worry about. Not sure what you mean by debris found in bottom of pan. Hard to say without additional clarification / description of "some debris". Was this possibly dirt from the edge of the pan or some of the pan gasket material?

Sounds normal, there should be some fine fuzz on the magnet and very light debris in the bottom of the pan with that kind of mileage, however if you can start picking out the debris with your fingers then you've got issues

Some fine non magnetic debris at the bottom of the pan. Hopefully I'll be lucky and everything will be fine thanks for the response
