Default Installed Corsa Extreme (my quick review)

Well i did it. i was debating on putting the system on myself but ended up having my friends shop install it for me. It was the x-pipe and muffler (if thats what you can call it) system. Took him about 1.5 hrs on a drive on lift.

The only things that i really have an issue with is that the curbside exhaust does a little bit dancing while the car idles. While it was on the hoist we looked at a number of ways to make it stop but we werent able to. One suggestion was to make a custom bracket the joined the two sides at the clamps. So at least if one was more solid it might hold the floppy side. The other thing that i need to do is make the small adjustments to angle the both sides the same. They are just off slightly. In the instructions it gave explanations on how to do this. After adjustment, this may eliminate the first issue.

Now the fun stuff... After having a day to drive with it, i have to say that it will be one of my most enjoyable mods. Not as loud as i thought it would be, but it now sounds like a true sports car. And i can't say that i have ever been able to break loose the traction control before. Enough to make the back end swing going in a straight line.

All in all, i definatly recommend!!

How is the sound of it while crusing the freeway/highway? I've been considering the Corsa for a long time on my C-6 but its money I can't afford to waste if its droning inside.

I have Corsa Indy's on my 02 vert and absolutely no drone while cruising. I've had them on for about 2 years and still think it was one of the best mod decisions I've made.
