Dude, really sorry to hear that you had a bad wreck and totaled your C5. Don't be intimated by your insurance company and battle the insurance company tooth, and nail and don't accept what they are offering, and continue to negotiate with them to see if you can get them up to a figure which is fair. DO you homework and show them what other C5s in your geographic location are selling for and how much it will cost you to replace your C5 with another which had similar options, mileage, etc. As leverage, threaten to hire an attorney to file suit against your company for breach of your company's contractual obligation to make you whole and pay you a fair price for what your car is really worth.
If you can't reach and fair settlement then I urge you to hire and attorney in your area who has a strong litigation background concerning insurance coverage issues.. When dealing with a piece of property as expensive as the C5 it may be worth you while to seriously consider hiring an agressive attorney in your area if you really feel you are being screwed. Most insurance companys will want to avoid involving an attorney and if the see your willing to do this and you mean business that may be enough to get the job done.
