Welcome to San Antonio! As for good Corvette Performance shops in SA I'm not familiar with any personally. I take my car up to Austin to a place called Performance Motorsports, the guy who owns it does a LOT of C5 work and comes highly recommended. He's a car guy like us, has several highly modded cars and in knowledgeable.
Since you are new to San Antonio I'd like to invite you to come to our Corvette Club meeting which is being held tonight, Tuesday Jan. 8th. We hold it in the Clear Springs Restaurant on 1604 between Stone Oak Parkway and 281. We have over 300 members and usually have around 75 people show up for meetings regularly. Some of the guys in the club might know of some local places to take the car to as well.

I'll be there. T talked to another guy this morning who owns his own detailer shop out on Vance Jackson. He invited me also. I guess 7PM? I'll get directions and try to meet you all out there.
I'm not going to be any anyones way am I, I mean I'm not yet a member or anything, but I'd like to see what it's all about.
Good excuse to take the wife to dinner at least.
