Default Need Brake Help!!!!

I removed the rear rotors and the e brake spring popped off. I have been trying to reinstall the spring for two hours now. Going out of my mind!

Does anyone have a tip on how to reinstall the ebrake springs?

OK, I figured it out, after wanting to put a gun to my head! LOL!!!! It was very frustrating.

I have another question. The 2 bolts that hold the caliper to the bracket:

When I try to install these bolts, the pin just keeps turning....How can I achieve torque on the bolt when the pin just turns?

For future reference there is an easier way to reinstall the rear parking brake shoe and spring. You will need a break spring tool - kind of like a screw driver with a notch in the end. Available at any auto parts store. The first thing you do is back the star wheel adjuster all the way down to the stop on both sides. Push the brake shoe all the way to the left or right as far as you can. Start with the center of the spring and slide it under the holder. Move to one side using break tool and push it under retaining clip on backing plate. Now push pad to the opposite side as far as it will go. Use tool to push the spring under retaining clip. It is a PITA but the tool makes it much easier. YOu can line up the spring and clip and push it under. Center the pad and run the adjusting star wheels out till the fit is right in the caliper. If you don't go far enough the Ebrake won't work properly and you will have to take it all the way apart and adjust again.

That is exact what I ended up doing, but it took me about a thousand tries to figure it out!
