how do I replace a telescopic switch??

how do I replace a telescopic switch??

Okay, I have a new switch. Looks like it just pressure fits in, and the old one could be popped out with a flat screwdriver. Problem is, looks like a really, really long plug-in cord. Am I going to have to take a whole bunch of stuff a part to plug it in? And if so, what and what is the process? Or will all that cord pull out and go back in in order to have some movement room? Any help would be great!!

What info do you need? the motor works as the wheel does move with the easy out function. The switch comes complete with wires all the wa to the plug in.

GM doesn't leave slack for things like that. You're going to have to follow the yellow brick road. Remove the knee bolster to get to the other end.

Yeah, I opened it up and there is no slack at all. However, I was able to remove the button assemebly from my old switch, and put it in my new switch. Took about 5-10 min and works great!
