Default Some help

Ok, here is the question I have a 2002 coupe and if I follow everything right this has the LS6 manifold, am I correct? Now the question is do I put on the BBK SSI manifold, and 80MM throttle body or put on a ported throttle body and leave the LS6 manifold?

The question about heat soak isn't really a factor don't race it and don't drive in a bunch of traffic, plus it will have a 160 thermostat.

I have heard good and bad about the BBK manifold and don't want to start that up just what would be more of an advantage, I am not holding anybody to the fire just want some opinions

You will get very little performance gain for the money. You would be better off spending it elsewhere (ie headers). Your stock throttle body is capable of handling quite a bit of horsepower, probably 500+.

Also, technically there is no such thing as an LS6 intake. The same intake came on every C5, starting in 01, which just happened to be the same year they came out with the Z06, but there has never been an intake exclusive to the Z06.

Default I have both

I have both the SSI and the 80mm throttle body along with a ported throttle body, so the question is what is the best option??
Changing the Manifold and throttle body, putting the BBK throttle body on, or putting on the ported one.
I posted the same question on the general and hope to get some inputs.
