Default Another Tire sensor ? All stop working at the same time

2001 coupe, had since 9/5/08 and the RR tire sensor never registered (RRXXXX) all the others were OK. This weekend the RR began working; however, driving to work this morning they ALL failed.
Any ideas?
Seems unlikely to me all would fail at the same time.
Thanks for the help....

2001 use Series II TPMSs, they should last 10 years. Do you have unusually high mileage?

Does you key fob work? The reason I ask is that the key fob and TPMSs use the same radio receiver. Maybe the receiver stopped working?

Do a relearn of the TPMSs. Search for how to do it.

Thanks Oldvetter, tried the relearn on the TPMS, could only get L&R front learned, then RR wouldn't learn, figured bad sensor(?), that left readings coming from the front and xxx from the back, strange thing is that after, oh about 20 mi or so, the warning came on while driving and then the fronts weren't reading anymore...

My 01 did the same thing. I had a bad right rear sensor that read xxxx and it turned out it locked up the whole system. All my other wheels readings were frozen till I replaced it.

Default Interesting

My '01 coupe is experiencing the same issues too; but it's my drivers side rear sensor that's not responding to the the re-learn procedure. The other three will re-program OK but after a few hours they also stop working too. Can one malfunctioning TPMS affect the rest?
