Lights wont go down
my dad bought a 99 vert about 3 months ago from car fax with a warrenty so im not terribly worried but after we com home he turns the **** and the lights wont go down. It drained the battery. BUT if u hold the **** down hard it closes them. But if u let g of the **** they go back up and turn on. Whats going on. I dont want to take it in there without some knoweldge.

The most likely cause is the headlamp switch which is part of the multifunction turn signal lever. Since the doors close if you hold the switch it probably is not a a broken wire,fuse, relays, ground or door motors.
